Hunting with Soldiers is hosting 3 Combat Veterans for a turkey hunt out of Henrietta, Texas. Arrival is Wednesday April 12th before 1700 hrs., and departure is Sunday April 16th after the morning hunt. Meals and lodging are supplied. Veteran only needs to bring ice chests for the meat, weapon & ammo (preferably at least #4 shot 3"), & knives for cleaning their kill. If the Veteran does not have a firearm, they just need to let us know. We have them to use. In your application, on the Section that states, "Tell Us a little about yourself" along with a small bio, please put down if you have experience using turkey calls.

You can not have hunted with Hunting with Soldiers before, or hunted or fished with more than 2 other Organizations, or multiple times with the same Organization to qualify (Sweat Equity Hunts and Dove Hunt with Hunting with Soldiers do not count against you on this trip, but you must put those down as well). You must not be on the list as going on another hunt with HwS as well. If you are chosen, and you are on the Reserve List for another hunt, please advise after you are chosen. Person chosen must send copy of DD214, or ERB/ORB Form if still Active Duty, to show proof of being in Combat to huntingwithsoldiers@live.com. Any information found to be inaccurate or incomplete will result in the removal of the application and removal from HwS activities. No illegal substances will be allowed on or around the property.
