ON THIS HUNT, THERE ARE SEVERAL BEDS, BUT NOT AS MANY AS WE NEED. THERE ARE RV HOOKUPS WITH ELECTRICITY & WATER ONLY. SO IN THE APPLICATION, THERE IS A QUESTION ON IF YOU CAN BRING AN RV OR NOT. 

Hunting with Soldiers is hosting 15 Combat Veterans for a deer hunt out of San Saba, Texas. Arrival is Friday, January 16th and departure is Sunday January 18th. Meals and housing are supplied. Veteran only needs to bring a couple or more ice chests for the meat, weapon & knives for cleaning their kill, bedding, & towel and washrag. You must have and show proof of a valid Texas Hunting License, & have tags left due to this is not MLD.   

If you are interested in this event and you qualify as a Combat Veteran, please complete this application: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/emf/HwS/BigSanSabaHunt In the section that states "Give the information of what Hunting/Fishing Trip are you applying for" put 2026 San Saba. You can not have hunted with Hunting with Soldiers before, or hunted or fished with more than 2 other Organizations, or multiple times with the same Organization to qualify (Our Dove Hunt and Sweat Equity Hunts do not count). Please note "DO NOT COMPLETE THE APPLICATION IF YOU HAVE BEEN OUT WITH US ON A PRIOR HUNT, NOT INCLUDING THE SWEAT EQUITY HUNTS AND DOVE HUNTS. WE WILL UPDATE THE POST ALLOWING APPLICATIONS OF THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN OUT WITH US BEFORE IF WE CAN NOT FILL THE SPOTS WITHIN 48 HOURS OF POSTING. You must not be on the list as going on another hunt with HwS as well. If you are chosen, and you are on the Reserve List for another hunt, please advise after you are chosen. Person chosen must send copy of DD214, or, if still Active Duty, the forms to show proof of being in Combat, to huntingwithsoldiers@live.com. Any information found to be inaccurate or incomplete will result in the removal of the application and removal from HwS activities. No illegal substances will be allowed on or around the property. If you can not do without it, do not apply...
