PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS THE SECOND SECTION OF OUR APPLICATION FOR THE PORT ARANSAS DEEP SEA FISHING TRIP. THIS IS FOR ONLY THE COMBAT VETERANS, NO SPOUSE. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS ALL THE WAY TO THE END OF THIS POST...

Hunting with Soldiers is hosting 12 Combat Veterans for our annual Port Aransas fishing trip. Arrival is Friday, April 28 and departure is Sunday April 30. Friday evening and Saturday evening Meals are provided. Housing is also provided (It is up to you to get to the location). Veteran only needs to bring a couple or more ice chests for their fish, knives for cleaning their fish (If they do not want to take it to the fish cleaning area that charges a small fee per pound), & fishing gear if you wish to fish other than just on the boat (fishing gear and bait is supplied on the boat). This will be anywhere from an 8 to 12 hour deep sea fishing trip taking place on the 29th. If you have never been on a boat, other than on the lake, you may want to check with your Dr. and get the patch to put behind your ear for sea sickness. You must have and show proof of a valid Texas Fishing License with the Salt Water Endorsement on it. Due to the place we are staying, NO PETS (Including Service Dogs). There is no requirement for you to fish on the boat. This will be a trip to enjoy so please do not feel like you have to go on the boat. If anyone feels they just want to hang out, but does not want to go on the 8 to 12 hour fishing trip part, they need to let us know (if they are chosen) so we do not purchase that spot.

Also in the section that asks if you will be bringing a Spouse, Boyfriend/Girlfriend, """MAKE SURE TO CHECK NO""". You can not have fished with Hunting with Soldiers before, or hunted or fished with more than 2 other Organizations, or multiple times with the same Organization to qualify. If you are chosen, and you are on the Reserve List for another trip, please advise after you are chosen. Person chosen must send copy of DD214, or ERB/ORB Form if still Active Duty, to show proof of being in Combat to huntingwithsoldiers@live.com. Any information found to be inaccurate or incomplete will result in the removal of the application and removal from HwS activities. No illegal substances will be allowed on or around the property. If you can not do without it, do not apply... ""IF YOU ARE ON THE RESERVE LIST FOR THE COUPLES AND YOU ARE APPLYING AS A SINGLE HERE, YOU MUST STATE THAT IN THE SECTION THAT SAYS "TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF". If you do fail to do so, and we find that you are on the reserve as a couple, both applications will be deleted. Also please read all instructions on the application.
