HUNTING WITH SOLDIERS

ANNUAL VETERAN & ACTIVE DUTY

DOVE HUNT

OLNEY, TX

SEPTEMBER 12-14, 2025

UPDATE: Trip is filled. No more applications accepted.

Hunting with Soldiers is hosting our annual Veterans and Active Duty (Combat and Non Combat) Dove Hunt out of Olney, TX. Those chosen may bring their spouse and/or child (Not your good buddy, brother, etc., unless they are a Veteran or Active Duty). We can not guarantee the birds will be flying, but we can guarantee a great time. Arrival is Friday September 12th and departure is Sunday September 14th. This will be tent or rv camping. If you bring a camper, if you want power, you will need a generator. There is no water or sewer hookup either (In your application, "MAKE SURE" you include if you will be tent camping or bringing a camper). This trip will not count against you for any future trips with Hunting with Soldiers. If you have been on a prior trip with us, you are welcome to join us here as well. Bring your shotguns (please do not bring a self defense shotgun to dove hunt with. "Yes it has happened"). Also make sure your shotgun has a plug making it where only 3 shells can be in it at once, including one in the chamber. You will need ammunition (Either 7 1/2 or 8 shot). There will be absolutely no night time hog hunting at the ranch due to the amount of people who will be there as well as cattle being on the property. Bring plenty of water as well as snacks. We will have a meals. You can bring your adult beverages, but no extensive drinking until after guns are put away. If you have  4 wheeler or side by side, you can bring that as well, but respect landowners property. Any dumb stunts will cause you to be removed from the property and banned from any other event. Game Wardens are being invited to this event and they will be checking licenses. Remember new Hunting license year starts September 01, 2025. Make sure you have it with the migratory game bird stamp included (Super Combo already has this). If your spouse or child will be hunting, they MUST have their own license. A child, no matter their age, can not hunt using their parents hunting license (Once again, we only post this because it has happened). If you are coming from out of state and you are a Disabled Veteran 50% or more, you can get the Disabled Veteran Super Combo for free the same that resident 50% or more Disabled Veterans receive (Hunting license must be on your person at all times while hunting, unless you have the Texas Hunt Harvest Ap. downloaded on your phone and your license is connected to this. Then you must have your phone on you). No illegal substances will be allowed on or around the property. If you can not do without it, do not apply... If you are interested in this, and you "ARE POSITIVE" you can make it, complete this application: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/emf/huntingwithsoldiers/olneydovehunt
