READ VERY CARFULLY. THIS HAS A LOT OF INFORMATION. WHEN YOU GO TO THE APPLICATION, READ IT VERY CAREFULLY AS WELL: Hunting with Soldiers is hosting 4 Combat Veterans for an Exotic hunt out of Olney, Texas. There is a strong possibility that it will be an aoudad ewe or ram, but that can change. Arrival is Friday February 20 and departure is Sunday February 22. Meals and housing are supplied. Veteran only needs to bring rifle, ammunition, ice chests, & knives for cleaning their kill. You must have and show proof of a valid Texas Hunting License.  

***PLEASE NOTE***: Most of our trips are not filmed, BUT, this trip will be filmed and possibly televised at a later date. You must be willing to be filmed. You will also probably be interviewed. We do not expect them to ask you everything you did in the Military, but be prepared to be interviewed. By Completing the application, you agree to be filmed and that episode to be televised. 

If you are interested in this event and you qualify as a Combat Veteran (A MUST FOR THIS TRIP), and you do not fall in the category listed below the application link, please complete this application: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/emf/HwS/B-TexRanch  You can not have hunted with Hunting with Soldiers before, or hunted or fished with more than 2 other Organizations, or multiple times with the same Organization to qualify (Our Dove Hunts, Sweat Equity Hunts, & Child of Combat Veteran Hunts do not count against you on previous hunt). We normally open trips up to those who have been out with us on a prior hunt if we have it posted for 24 plus hours. If you have been on a hunt with us before, other than the trips listed above, and you put in an application before the 24 hour period, it will be deleted. You must not be on the list as going on another hunt with HwS as well (no trading hunts). If you are chosen, and you are on the Reserve List for another hunt, you must advise if you are chosen. Person chosen must send copy of DD214, or the form if still Active Duty showing proof of being in Combat to huntingwithsoldiers@live.com (If you have been on a previous trip with HwS and have done this, it is not necessary for this trip). Any information found to be inaccurate or incomplete will result in the removal of the application and removal from HwS activities. No illegal substances are allowed in or around the hunting area or the accommodations (Even if it has been prescribed to you by the VA, but would normally, in any other circumstance, be deemed illegal). If you can not do without it, do not apply.
