IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS BOTH HERE AND ON THE APPLICATION. IF YOU FAIL TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS HERE AND ON THE APPLICATION, IT WILL APPEAR THAT YOU WILL NOT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ON THIS HUNT. THE VERY FIRST INSTRUCTION IS THAT IF YOU HAVE BEEN ON A HUNT WITH HWS BEFORE (OTHER THAN THE DOVE AND SWEAT EQUITY HUNTS), "DO NOT" APPLY UNLESS WE HAVE NOT CLOSED THE HUNT AFTER BEING POSTED FOR 24 HOURS. AFTER 24 HOURS OF HUNT BEING POSTED, YOU MAY APPLY IF IT HAS NOT CLOSED. Hunting with Soldiers is hosting 4 Combat Veterans for a deer hunt out of San Angelo, Texas (2 of the spots are filled, we are seeking 2 more). Arrival is Friday, January 2 and departure is Sunday January 4. Meals and housing are supplied. Veteran only needs to bring a couple or more ice chests for the meat, weapon & knives for cleaning their kill. If the Veteran does not have a firearm, they just need to let us know. We have plenty for them to use. You must have and show proof of a valid Texas Hunting License. This is not MLD so you must have tags left. 

If you are interested in this event and you qualify as a Combat Veteran, please complete this application: http://www.huntingwithsoldiers.org/combatveteranapplication  In the section that states "Give the information of what Hunting/Fishing Trip are you applying for" put San Angelo. **You can not have hunted with Hunting with Soldiers before, or hunted or fished with more than 2 other Organizations, or multiple times with the same Organization to qualify (Our Sweat Equity Hunts and Dove Hunt do not count against you, but you must list it)**. You must not be on the list as going on another hunt with HwS as well. If you are chosen, and you are on the Reserve List for another hunt, please advise after you are chosen. Person chosen must send copy of DD214, or, if still Active Duty, the form to show proof of being in Combat to huntingwithsoldiers@live.com. Any information found to be inaccurate or incomplete will result in the removal of the application and removal from HwS activities. **No illegal substances will be allowed on or around the property. If you can not do without it, do not apply**
