SWEAT EQUITY HOG HUNT

Hunting with Soldiers is hosting 6 ABLED BODIED Veterans (Combat & Non Combat) for a sweat equity hog hunting trip out of Newcastle, TX. This includes processing at a licensed processor (4C WIld Game Processing in Newcastle, TX) at no charge. But Veterans must do the processing with assistance from the processor staff. Veteran will be required to skin and gut their hogs. You will be able to make pan sausage, link sausage, steaks, etc. using the processors spices & equipment. There will not be time to smoke any meats, so that is not included. This is located at River Bluff Hunts out of Newcastle, TX. This should be an easy hunt and we can pretty much guarantee you will see lots of hogs, but we cannot guarantee you will hit any. That is strictly up to you. This Sweat Equity Hunting Trip consist of the Veterans hunting in the mornings and evenings and some at night, and during the day on Saturday, they will be cutting out coolers, tin, etc. from 4C's other processing location that was destroyed by fire. We have found that these trips are very successful in that the Veterans are given a task, they work as a team to complete these tasks, and they see the end results, along with hanging out with other Veterans and having a relaxing good time. Arrival is Friday, May 30th and departure is Sunday June 1st. You are responsible for getting to and from the location of the trip. Meals and housing are supplied. Veteran only needs to bring a couple or more ice chests for the meat, weapon & ammo (We do not have any to loan on this trip), knives for cleaning their kill, towel & washrag, bedding, and work gloves. You must have and show proof of a valid Texas Hunting License. **Veteran must be able to lift and walk with no restrictions to qualify for this trip.** This trip does not count against you for any other hunting and fishing adventures with Hunting with Soldiers. This is one way we give back to the landowners.

Any information found to be inaccurate or incomplete will result in the removal of the application and removal from HwS activities. No illegal substances allowed. If you can not do without it, don't put in for this trip.
