Hunting with Soldiers is hosting 2 Combat Veterans for a Veterans Day Weekend Whitetail Deer & Hog hunt, as well as fishing out of San Saba, Texas. Arrival is Friday, November 11th and departure is Sunday November 13th. Meals and housing are supplied. Veteran only needs to get to the location & bring a couple or more ice chests for the meat, weapon, knives for cleaning their kill, fishing gear, head lamp, & also bring lawn chair. You must have and show proof of a valid Texas Hunting License (Veteran will be using their tags. This is not MLD).

If you are interested in this event and you qualify as a Combat Veteran, please complete this application: http://www.huntingwithsoldiers.org/combatveteranapplication  In the section that states "Give the information of what Hunting/Fishing Trip are you applying for" put San Saba Hunt. You can not have hunted with Hunting with Soldiers before, or hunted or fished with more than 2 other Organizations, or multiple times with the same Organization to qualify (Remember our annual dove hunt and sweat equity hunts do NOT count against you for future hunts with Hunting with Soldiers). You must not be on the list as going on another hunt with HwS as well (Except for a sweat equity hunt). If you are chosen, and you are on the Reserve List for another hunt, please advise after you are chosen. Person chosen must send copy of DD214, or ERB/ORB Form if still Active Duty, to show proof of being in Combat to huntingwithsoldiers@live.com. Any information found to be inaccurate or incomplete will result in the removal of the application and removal from HwS activities. No illegal substances will be allowed on or around the property. If you can not do without it, do not apply...
